assets, while expanding and diversifying its economic base.
The Committee will work
to encourage existing retailers to expand, improve, and grow
their businesses as well as attract new retail opportunities
to the City.

Committee will promote cultural and historical preservation
in keeping with the vision of

The objective of this
Committee is to work in partnership with City Officials to
promote the vision of Choose Franklin.
This Committee will
inform membership of issues of Public Policy that
impedes/impacts Choose Franklin’s vision.
This Committee will
promote an active and informed citizenship in public
affairs.
This Committee will be
responsible for overseeing Choose Franklin’s Public
Policy Policy. |

Community
Connections, Education and Promotion

The objective of this
Committee is to promote active community involvement and
neighborhood.
This Committee will link
and work in partnership throughout the City to promote
inclusive and diverse membership in Choose Franklin.
This Committee will
develop strategies to educate the community about Choose
Franklin’s vision and the initiatives it undertakes and
will seek to gain widespread participation in its efforts.
Through the use of
various communication methods (website, newsletter,
commercials, public forums) this Committee will increase
awareness of Choose Franklin’s vision, goals, and
accomplishments. |

Natural
Resources, Recreation and Community Events

The objective of this
Committee is to promote and preserve Franklin’s natural
resources – rivers, lakes, hiking trails – while promoting
use of those resources for recreation for all ages.
This Committee will
assist with Community Events that promote community
capacity-building initiatives – maximizing Franklin’s social
capital – as a means to reform. |
